On the weekend I went to Auckland to go watch my brother play rugby and to celebrate my other brother birthday.On Friday we went shopping and went to the hospital for dad so he could get his cast put on his leg,Then we waited for my brother to get back from Hamilton.When he arrived we went to go get his gears to put them in the car,When did all that we went to Denny's for dinner.On Saturday we went to go watch my brother play at condor 7's,his first game was at 10:30 against Sacred Heart College they lost. their second game they lost and their third game they lost again.On Sunday we went to watch my brother play 7's again their first game was at 11:30 against west lake,they won that game and that was their first game they won.

Kapa haka regionals

On Saturday we had  regionals in whangarei but we weren't performing till 4:00,first we had breakfast.After we had breakfast we went over the hall and had taumata then we had to run through our items,when we finished we had to wait for our hair to be done then we had to wait for our tamoko. when we finished all of that we went outside to take photo of the hole roopu. Then we had to wait till the bus come,when the bus arrived some people were getting nervous.When we arrived to Kingston stadium people were getting nervous and scared.The roopu had to warm up our throats and do some  breathing.when we went on stage everyone was clapping and cheering.when we walked off the stage everyone was so happy after our performance.When it was prizing giving they were telling us what items came place we placed in all of our items just not the haka,after that they were telling all the groups whos going to nationals,when they said our name all of us were excited.We came third.

Kapa haka weekend

In the weekend I went back to school to do kapa haka,we went over to our school hall to do taumata then we had to polish our formation because of 2 cripple girls.Then we had to do our formations for our whakaeke first was the girls they keep getting their formations wrong and when it was the boys turn we got it right quick but we had to do go through a few time so we get in our heads.Then we all did together but the girls got it wrong.We were all up till 12:30 because of the girls because they couldn't one formation in the whakawatea well they were doing that boys were having long rest.On Saturday we were split the boys went with tere to polish our actions and formation till lunch,after lunch we had a break.After our break was finished we went back in lines and went through our haka and whakawatea after we did all that we ran through the whakaeke,haka,poi and the whakawatea then we went over the the hall and ran through the poi and the haka when it was 5:00 it was our down time till dinner. After dinner we had desert then we had a long break till went over to the hall,then they four models and they were in our kakahu.Then we all got in our kakahu. After all that we had shower and went to bed.On Sunday we had to run our items because we had a dress rehearsal for the parents.when it was time to perform some people was nervous,when went out some people started crying.

Kapa haka

In the weekend I went back to school a to do kapa haka because we have regional's in another 2 weeks so we've been training really hard for kapa haka so we can make national.The first day we started at 9:00 am and finished at 11:00 pm.On Sunday we woke up at 8:00 to have breakfast after we had breakfast we started kapa haka,first we sang through our songs and polished our poi then we had lunch at 1:00 after we had lunch we had a 50 min break. after we had a break we went through our poi then our whakawatea to see our formation, then we tidy up our formation to our whakawatea. Then the boys went through the haka and after we went through the haka we had to tidy our walk and our run we also did the whakaeke. Then we  showed the girls what we've been doing. After that we did a top drop,when we finished a top drop we went back home we finished about 5:00 pm.

Report writing Great white shark

A great white shark is one of the deadliest animal in the sea, the scientific name for the great white is Carcharodon carcharias.The great white is a cousin to the megalodon and also member of the mackerel shark

Appearance

A great white is one of the largest sharks in the ocean.A great white female are longer and bigger than a male,a males starting size is 3.5 and when it's full grown its 4 m,But a is longer than that a female starting at 4.5 up to 6.4 m thats big.They can weigh up to 2 or even 3  metric tons in weight (that’s over 6,500 pounds)! That’s one big fish.A great white shark Sense of Smell is just as awesome as the mouth, that they have the ability to smell a single drop of blood in 25 gal (100 L) of water.

Habitat

A great white shark love the coastal areas in all oceans from all over the world.Great white shark lives on the outskirts of water shore,sometimes they stray into the deep ocean and are even found in depths of 1,000 meters or more.But the great white preferred the water temperature is from  15 and 24 °C 59 and 75 °F so most of the time they stay in the shallow water near the surface.

Hunting/ Diet

A great white teeths can be devastating.A single large bite from a great white can be fatal,when a great white shark is young they feed on smaller prey such as fish and stingray.As a great white is grown they feed more exclusively on  marine mammals, such as sea lions, seals and small whales. A great whites are smart hunters,they use specific strategies to catch their prey such as surprising from below. They preferred prey is a seal but they also seem to like sea lions and some species of dolphins they mostly like humpback dolphins.   

The population of a great white shark is 3,500  individuals, this make the species more vulnerable to extinction than the tiger, whose population is in the same range. Meaning that the great white are not endangered yet.

I've been working on my organisation.I choose a great white shark because a great white shark is really interesting.what I found hard writing in my own words and what found easy was find the information.My next step is to try make my learning look interesting by putting photos or videos.
